"My Soul finds rest in God
alone,
my salvation comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
His is my fortress,
I will never be shaken."
Psalms 62:1

Catherine’s heart-warming stories get down to the nitty-gritty of
life. What’s real? What’s not? Whether we think we are invincible or terribly needy we stand on common ground when
it comes to crisis. No one is immune from pain. As a graduate of a Christian College, Pastor’s wife for 10 years,
Bible teacher, Worship leader, Choral director, and mother of five, Catherine is bubbling with practical truths
which are artfully wrapped in wit and charm. For more than 18 years, she has been speaking in Churches, at
Retreats and Women’s events, captivating listeners by the spirit of hope that weaves through each message. |

Life is like an obstacle course. You have the straight, level paths that seem easy enough. Then soon you
find yourself climbing a hill or two. The course usually has a wall that interrupts your stride at a most
inopportune moment. But, the worst is the mud pits. When you fall into a pit filled with mud ---
it tends to stand out in your memory.
|
You may respond with anger, frustration, burst into
tears, or all of the above. Whether self-induced or outside your control the mud pit will surely get your
attention. Only one thing is certain. There is no shortcut through the painfully annoying muck. When you feel
yourself kicking and flailing in the pits of life, ask yourself this question: Now what? We all need a source of
Hope for those difficult times.

I am strong for ALL things in
the one who constantly infuses strength in me.
Philippians 4:13 (Weust Bible Translation)

What are our choices? We can stay stuck or accept a
hand up and out. The key to victory through crisis is a deep rooted, genuine faith in God. It may seem like the
hard way, but it’s the only sure way out.

"I have known Catherine for many years, and I am
pleased to be able to recommend her as a godly woman who loves to communicate the heart of God to a contemporary
audience. Catherine has been through considerable personal loss and so her depth of knowledge and perspective
comes from the "trenches" of her spiritual journey. Catherine has learned the profundity of Tozer's
statement that: God can hardly use a person greatly until He has hurt them deeply."
Mike Quinn, Senior Pastor, Canyon View Christian Fellowship
